McCallister Hansen Woodworks is a small craft cabinet shop that started in 1987. Trained as both furniture makers and cabinetmakers, we bring a broad range of woodworking skills to each project, including traditional wood joinery, custom veneering, production of unique moldings and doors, as well as finely crafted cabinetry and furniture. An expertise in hand tool woodworking augments the use of machines in the execution of each project, and means that we are guided by the needs of our client, not by the systems we use. The projects we do cover a wide variety of styles, from traditional face frame construction utilizing hardware that is authentic to the period, to contemporary casework that makes use of the most current technology. We hand select the very best materials for each project, using environmentally sound materials as often as possible. A less visible skill we bring to each project is the ability to work with other trades to give the customer a quality finished product in a timely fashion.
